Feature Guide

Network Pool

Share selected profiles with other matchmakers and discover theirs — reach further without giving up ownership.

In a nutshell

  • Turn on pool visibility for a profile and other matchmakers can discover it in their Discover feed and send a contact request.
  • It needs both your consent (pool_visible) and the seeker's consent. You stay the profile's owner throughout.

A shared, opt-in directory

Every matchmaker keeps their own roster private by default. The pool is the slice each one chooses to make discoverable.

Reach without hand-off

The pool widens the set of profiles a match can come from — without a profile ever leaving your managed list.

  • You pick which profiles go in, one at a time
  • Other matchmakers see a limited card until you grant more
  • The seeker's consent is required, not just yours
  • You can revoke access or pull the profile out at any time

The two consents

A profile only enters the pool when both boxes are ticked.

Field visibility still applies

Even inside the pool, other matchmakers see the fields your platform's discovery settings allow — and any per-profile field restrictions you set. The date of birth is never shown; age is.

The contact-request flow

Another matchmaker who likes a pooled profile sends you a request. Nothing unlocks until you act.

Accepting alone opens a matchmaker-to-matchmaker chat. Full profile, media and contact access is a separate, deliberate "grant access" step — always audited.

What the requesting matchmaker sees

Access is layered — accepting is not the same as granting.

You never lose the profile

Pool sharing is visibility, not a transfer.

The profile stays yours

A pooled profile still appears only in your own managed list. The other matchmaker sees it in their Discover view, never in their roster. Turn pool visibility off and it disappears from the pool immediately.
Owner
Always the original managing matchmaker — sharing changes nothing here.
Appears in
Your managed list only; the other matchmaker's Discover view only.
Grant access
A separate, audited action that unlocks preferences, media and contact for one requester.
Revoke
Withdraw a granted access at any time.
Turn off
Disable pool visibility and the profile leaves the pool at once.
