How to Add a New Option

Every category screen follows the same pattern:

Example category screen — search, add, toggle, edit, delete

    Open a category — Tap the category name from the Customization list.
  2. 2
    Tap the + button — Bottom-right FAB or top-right Add button opens an input sheet.
  3. 3
    Type the value — Enter the name (e.g. "Jain - Sthanakvasi") and tap Save.
  4. 4
    Value is live — The new option is immediately available in all profile forms across web and mobile.

Active / Inactive Toggle

Each item has a toggle switch. When Inactive, the option is hidden from all profile forms. Use this to hide rarely-used options without deleting them.

Deactivating a value does not remove it from profiles that already selected it — it only prevents new profiles from selecting it.

Pro Tips

  • Set up Religion and Caste first — these are the most community-specific fields in profile forms
  • Custom items you add get a Custom badge — these are deletable unlike system defaults
