Interests

Track the interests you have sent and the interests other seekers have sent you. Accept or decline incoming interest requests.

Interests Overview

Tap Interests in the bottom navigation. The screen has two tabs: Received (interests sent to you) and Sent (interests you've sent to others).

Pending

Waiting for your response (Received) or awaiting their response (Sent)

Accepted

Interest was accepted — mutual match

Declined

Interest was not accepted

Withdrawn

You withdrew the interest before it was accepted

Responding to a Received Interest

    Open the Received tab

    Interests from other seekers appear here with their profile photo and name.

  2. 2

    Tap the interest card

    Opens the sender's profile so you can review their details.

  3. 3

    Read their profile

    Check all tabs — About, Career, Family, Lifestyle, Photos — before deciding.

  4. 4

    Accept or Decline

    Tap Accept (green button) to create a mutual match, or Decline to pass. Declining is private.

Tracking Sent Interests

Tap the Sent tab to see all interests you have sent. Each interest shows the current status:

Sent interests — list with pending, accepted, and declined status
Pending

They haven't responded yet. Wait for them to review your profile.

Accepted

They accepted! Your matchmaker has been notified of the mutual match.

Declined

They passed on this interest. Your matchmaker can suggest other profiles.

After Mutual Interest

When both seekers have expressed mutual interest (you sent and they accepted, or vice versa), the matchmaker is notified. Depending on the matchmaker's settings, contact details may be shared at this point to facilitate further communication.

A mutual interest doesn't guarantee contact exchange automatically — your matchmaker reviews all matches and decides when to share contact information.

Tips

  • You can withdraw a sent interest before it is accepted — tap the interest in the Sent tab and select Withdraw
  • Declining an interest is private — the sender is not notified with a "Declined" message, their interest is just not accepted
