Suggestions

View personalised match recommendations your matchmaker has sent you. Explore suggested profiles and respond with interest or pass.

What is a Suggestion?

A suggestion is a hand-picked shortlist of profiles your matchmaker created specifically for you. Unlike albums (which are general collections), suggestions are personalised — your matchmaker selected these profiles because they believe they are good matches for you.

Viewing a Suggestion

Open the Suggestions tab — Tap Suggestions in the bottom navigation or side drawer.

Tap a suggestion — Opens the suggestion detail screen with the matchmaker's personal note and the shortlisted profiles.

Tap a profile card — Opens the full profile view so you can read all their details before deciding.

Respond — Tap Send Interest (heart) or Pass on each profile.

Responding to a Suggestion

You have two actions for each profile inside a suggestion:

Send Interest

Express interest in this profile. They receive a notification and can accept or decline.

Pass

Skip this profile without sending interest. You can always revisit the suggestion later.

New Suggestion Notifications

When your matchmaker sends you a new suggestion, you'll receive a push notification. Tap it to open the suggestion directly. If you missed it, it will still be waiting in your Suggestions tab.

Enable notifications (Settings → Notifications) to receive new suggestion alerts. Without notifications, you'll need to manually open the app to check.

Tips

Check the matchmaker's personal note at the top of the suggestion — it often explains why each profile was chosen
Read the full profile before responding — tap any profile card to see all tabs
