  2. 2
Click "Add New"Purple button in the top-right of the category page.
  3. 3
Enter the valueType the name (e.g. "Jain - Digambar") in the input field.
  4. 4

Custom vs System Values

Items you add yourself get a Custom badge. System defaults do not. Custom values can be deleted; system defaults can only be activated or deactivated.

Deactivating a value hides it from profile forms and dropdowns going forward — profiles that already used that value are not affected.

Pro Tips

  • Set up Caste and Mother Tongue first — these are the most commonly community-specific fields
  • Add custom Service Types in Services to describe exactly what you offer to seekers
  • Deactivate irrelevant options like "Other Nationality" if all your clients are from one country
