Search
Type in the search box to instantly filter the list as you type.
Add New
The purple Add button (top-right) opens a form. Enter the value name and click Save.
Edit
Click the edit icon on any row to rename a value.
Active Toggle
Toggle the switch to hide a value from forms without deleting it.
Delete
Delete icon removes custom values. System defaults show a disabled delete button.
Custom Badge
Your own additions show a "Custom" badge to distinguish them from system defaults.
Adding a New Option
- 1Open the category — Click the category name in the Customization list (e.g. Religion).
- 2Click "Add New" — Purple button in the top-right of the category page.
- 3Enter the value — Type the name (e.g. "Jain - Digambar") in the input field.
- 4Save — Click Save. The new option now appears in profile edit forms immediately.
Custom vs System Values
Items you add yourself get a Custom badge. System defaults do not. Custom values can be deleted; system defaults can only be activated or deactivated.
Pro Tips
- Set up Caste and Mother Tongue first — these are the most commonly community-specific fields
- Add custom Service Types in Services to describe exactly what you offer to seekers
- Deactivate irrelevant options like "Other Nationality" if all your clients are from one country
