Magic Links
Generate one-tap, password-free login links for seekers. When a seeker clicks their magic link, they are logged into the Connect app without needing a password.

Generating a Magic Link

Go to Magic Links
Navigate via the sidebar or Profiles → a profile → action menu "Magic Link".

Find the seeker
Use the search bar to find by name. Filter by status: No Link or Expired to find seekers who need a new link.

Click "Generate Link"
A link is created instantly. The row updates to show the Active status.

Sharing a Magic Link
Once generated, each seeker's detail sheet shows their link with two actions:
Copy Link
Copies the full magic link URL to your clipboard so you can paste it into WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
Share
Opens your device's native share sheet to send the link directly via any app.
Link Expiry & Regeneration
Magic links expire after a set period for security. An Expired badge appears automatically. To give the seeker access again, click Regenerate Link on their row.
Pro Tips
- Send magic links via WhatsApp — tap-to-open is much friendlier than typing a password
- Use magic links when onboarding new seekers who haven't set a password yet
- For security, regenerate a link immediately if you suspect it was shared with someone else
