Share your matchmaker branded QR code with anyone, and scan seekers' QR codes to instantly pull up their profile — no typing required.

Three QR Code Features

Go to QR Codes from the side drawer. You'll see three tabs:

My QR Code

Your branded matchmaker QR code. Share it with potential clients to promote your business.

Scan Seeker

Use the in-app camera to scan a seeker's Connect app QR and instantly open their profile.

Invite Codes

Create referral codes for other matchmakers to join Matchdiary under your network.

Your Matchmaker QR Code

Tap My QR. Your unique matchmaker QR code is displayed — it encodes your store handle URL so anyone who scans it visits your public profile page.

Scanning a Seeker's QR Code

Tap Scan Seeker (or tap the Scan QR banner on the Dashboard). The in-app camera opens. Point it at the seeker's QR code from their Connect app profile screen.

    Tap "Scan Seeker" — The camera permission will be requested on first use — tap Allow.

    Frame the QR code — Align the seeker's QR code inside the green framing box on screen.
  3. 3
    Profile opens automatically — The scan is instant — the seeker's full profile opens without any further taps.
The seeker's QR code is found inside their Connect app on the Profile → QR Code screen. Ask them to open it and hold it steady for the camera.

Invite Codes

Tap Invite Codes. Create codes to refer other matchmakers to join your network on Matchdiary.

Invite Codes — create, copy, and track referral usage

    Tap "Create Code" — Opens a form for a new invite code.
  2. 2
    Add a label — E.g. "Community Event Feb 2025" — helps you track which event generated the referrals.
  3. 3
    Set max uses and expiry (optional) — Limit how many registrations this code allows and when it expires.
  4. 4
    Tap Create — The code appears in the list. Tap Copy or Share to send it.

Pro Tips

  • Print your QR code on a business card or banner at events — anyone who scans it lands on your profile page
  • Scanning a seeker QR is the fastest way to look up their profile when they walk in without an appointment
